Fairtrade Natural Deodorant has arrived!

When it comes to Fairtrade, most of us think coffee, chocolate and bananas; however -  we are delighted to announce that you can now add 'deodorant' to your Fairtrade products list, with the Earth Conscious Fairtrade Natural Deodorant range.

Becoming Fairtrade Certified was a long time in the making, encountering many steps and obstacles along the way. Even now it proves difficult to source certain ingredients. However, we are so pleased that not only is the Earth Conscious Bare Bar range certified Fairtrade but our NEW range of delicate deodorant balms are Certified Fairtrade too and our entire range of Natural Deodorant Balms and many of our Natural Deodorant Sticks! Just look out for the fairtrade logo on the packaging.

Why Fairtrade?

By choosing Fairtrade certified coconut oil, this means Earth Conscious (and you as our customer) play a part in making sure that coconut farmers get a fair price and support to invest in community projects such as developing new farming techniques, clean water or educational programmes.

For Earth Conscious as a brand, it's simply another way we can give back and do something positive, a Fairtrade deodorant seemed a good plan. We can't do everything but this is something we feel we can do easily enough, it's a choice we can make. 

As with the 10p donations we make to the Marine Conservation Society (from each of your purchases); a simple way that we can give back to help make the world we live in a better place. We hope that our customers welcome being part of this too.

In practice, all of our products use the Fairtrade Organic Coconut ingredient and we continue to work on rolling out the remainder of the range with new packaging updates as soon as possible.
